Although it was initially rumored to happened sometime in February or March, a featherweight bout between Chad Mendes and Michihiro Omigawa now has an official slot at UFC 126 on February 5th. Five other bouts were added to the Superbowl weekend card, which is now nearly complete. Although Mendes-Omigawa is currently slated for the preliminary card, if the UFC runs a live prelims special on Spike TV for this event, this bout will likely be featured.
