Two Brazilian submission specialists with penchants for cranking all sorts of limbs will face off in a middleweight bout in March, according to Tatame:
Former teammates at Brazilian Top Team, Rousimar Palhares and Alexandre "Cacareco" Ferreira are in talks to meet at UFC on Versus 3, on March 3rd. According to sources close to the situation, the fight is already agreed, and the contract will be signed soon.
"Cacareco" was the original leg-mangler out of Brazilian Top Team before he moved to Chute Boxe, so in addition to being an intriguing clash of two powerful grapplers, this bout will also carry a BTT vs. Chute Boxe story line.
