WEC 53 Highlights and Post-Fight Interviews: Anthony Pettis, Dominick Cruz, and Donald Cerrone

Missed the kick that shook the MMA world? Don't worry, you can watch it below.

World Extreme Cagefighting's last event ended with a bang as Anthony Pettis and Benson Henderson gave the fans a moment to remember on their lightweight title bout. The new WEC lightweight champion talked about the kick that will surely be roaming the majority of MMA highlight reels for years to come:

"Duke Roufus plays around with us, and we try, like new kicks in practice. He's like "Man if one of you throws this one in the cage, I'm taking you to dinner"... So he owes me some dinner."

"I've seen that he keeps on circling around the cage. I'm like, "I've got to try it." Cause when he's going away from the cage, I've got enough room to jump off. He was reading on my one hit, so I've got to do something different and make it land."

Here are the videos from the WEC 53 post-fight show hosted by Ariel Helwani and Molly Qerim. They feature interviews and highlights of the night, including the crazy crazy kick that Anthony Pettis landed (0:26 mark) to win the WEC lightweight title, Dominick Cruz being the first UFC bantamweight champion, and Donald Cerrone vs. Chris Horodecki.
