Jason High vs. Hayato "Mach" Sakurai Set for Dynamite!! 2010
Another match up has been set for Dynamite!! 2010. According to MMAJunkie, long time Japanese star, Hayato Sakurai is expected to meet UFC veteran Jason High on a welterweight bout for DREAM's new year's eve show.
The pair almost faced each other a year ago, when both competitors were on opposite brackets of the semifinals of the DREAM Welterweight Grand Prix. High defeated Andre Galvao to make the finals, but Sakurai, who was thought to be the early favorite to win the tourney, lost to eventual welterweight champion, Marius Zaromskis.
High, who trains with UFC fighter Antonio Mckee at Team Bodyshop, has rattled off two straight victories following his UFC release, and now has his calendar already filled with 3 more bouts, in 3 different countries. He will be traveling back and forth from Japan, USA and Canada, as he is set to compete in Dynamite, Titan Fighting: Duffee vs. Wagner, and Maximum Fighting Championships, all in the next three months.
Sakurai on the other hand, will try to regain back his old form, as he is looking to end his three fight losing streak to Nick Diaz, Akihiro Gono, and Marius Zaromskis.

Good to see Jason High getting his name out there again. If he wins in his next three fights, I wonder if the UFC will give him a call again. I was surprised that he got cut from the UFC following his promotional debut and loss. Usually, most fighters get two losses and then get cut, and Charlie Brenneman is a pretty tough fighter as well, so it’s not like it was a loss to some sort of scrub or some embarrassing loss.

Yea I didn’t understand that either – it seems weird to put two young prospects in a match together and cut whichever one loses since one of them is pretty much guaranteed to lose

Glad to see the KC Bandit getting some love. Hope he makes it through unscathed so he can fight in KC Jan 28th!

I wonder why he didn't
Especially with McKee now being in the UFC and all

I haven’t asked him specifically but I’m guessing it has to do with being away from the family and not being able to make money fighting while the show films

Overeem, please!
I really want to know who they are going to get to step up and fight him on short notice. It’s only two weeks away.
Rumor is Ishii, also heard Duffee tossed around.
Hey UFC4 go fuck yourself, how about that? Fucking punk, I was just asking for the source that says lesnar gets 5 mill a fight, it’s obvious one does not exist. Bunch of gabronis on a site pulling figures out of your ass.

That would be terrible..Duffee would get destroyed in brutal fashion and have 2 bad ko losses in a row.
Can you think of a better Japanese New Years MMA fight than Ubereem-TODDUFFEEE?

I hope it is Uber and Ishii so I can see Duffee destroy Abe Wagner at TFC 16
