They’re playing Cruz vs. Benavidez 2 on the big screen in the arena, and we’re hearing the audio while staring at the scale. I’m assuming the weight in will start when they’re finished showing the fight.

But then if you look at their last fights-
Anderson. No hair, got dropped by Sonnen a few times who has no striking skills that I can recall of.
Rampage. No hair, got lit up and dropped by Machida.
Wanderlei. No hair, got rocked by Bisping, but only barely.
Still, valid comment.
I gotta say this
People have actually been saying that Chael beat Anderson on his feet. The 1st round left hand was okay, but Silva was really playing it up afterword, letting him punch him straight in the face without even trying to avoid punches or counter.
Anderson had a broken rib and was only worried about about Chael shooting in on him. In the 4th or 5th round Silva actually started trying to stand and bang, which led to Chael getting rocked with a standing elbow.
Its like me getting semi-rocked boxing with a teenager who’s better than he looks. You don’t expect it, so it catches you. Smart on Chael’s part, but no where near out striking Anderson Silva.

Lytle by his own admission isn’t in the title hunt, so why not make as much money as possible? He’s a smart man who knows his place in the company. If he was boring, they would have cut him years ago. Now he’s a UFC institution, and making some good money doing it.

How much ecstasy(or coke) does it take to give a 3 hour lap dance?

For when he stupidly turned his back and as he turned around Anthony Njokuani drop kicked him in the head. I wouldn’t have personally done it don’t get me wrong there was nothing cheap about it. It was baby faces stupid mistake. But my pride wouldn’t let me win that way.

Is there a reason, the UFC was unable to secure a venue in Abu Dhabi? I was interested in knowing if the actions of a few fighters there had left a lingering bad taste in the mid eastern communities mouths. It was just odd that they announced they would return there and then could not secure a venue. Usually in the mid-east(I’ve spent 3 years too many there so I understand the culture a bit)money talks and with the right people interested a venue shouldn’t have been a problem. Last time the ufc went there the right partis were def interested and it went smoothly on there side. This is just what lead me to believe that quite possibly it could have something to do with it.

(on paper) this card is amazing.
I actually can’t wait for tomorrow now. The main card alone is sweet, and you can swap any dark match for the zhang/downes fight IMO….the debut of yuri alcantara and barao’s 2nd fight plus wineland and menjivar? hell yes.

Why do a lot of fighters wear their shorts as low as possible, right above their dong? I thought chics were the only sluts that did this, but I guess the shaved-chest crowd wants to compete with them? I just dont get it. How can you wear your shorts that low and still be a man…
