am i alone in thinking that henderson or pettis could beat maynard?
maynard has an advantage against edgar and i could see him winning again, but i think he’d struggle with the WEC guys matchup wise
maynard can be beaten, i had nate diaz beating him back when they fought, and i think henderson especially poses a pretty big stylistic threat to him

it's always possible
I’m a huge Pettis mark. but the WEC guys are way undertested at the UFC level.

I don't see any way Pettis beats Maynard.
Henderson, on the other hand…if he latches that guillotine then it’s over. I think he has an outside shot at beating Maynard.
When a ball goes into a net, it only means something because we decide it means something. When somebody punches somebody in the face it always means something.

Another good one.
Pettis’ range and TDD make that fight interesting, but I get the feeling that Edgar would mix the takedowns up with the striking and stay on top longer to earn a decision. Definitely a better fight for Pettis than Maynard though.

"god still loves me so it's ok"
lol I love this guy
Reed Harris seems like a good guy.
Both in this interview and on Inside MMA. I hope that he will still be involved/employed after the merger.
I also pick Maynard to beat Edgar…

I’m afraid Maynard will do to Edgar what he did to all his other opponents, making it a not very entertaining fight. I hope though Edgar will be able to establish his range and outstrike him. I love Edgar and hope he prevails.
I was not optimistic about Edgar’s chances before the second BJ fight either, when he outclassed him on every level, I was awestruck. So I hope the same will happen again.
(This time though, Maynard will probably be a bad stylistic matchup for Edgar).
