First, we'll talk to boxing writer Steve Kim of MaxBoxing.com. We'll recap last night's Lopez vs. Marquez bout, but look forward to Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito. We'll ask Kim if he agrees with Freddie Roach that Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will never happen.
Then we'll talk to WEC featherweight Javier "Showtime" Vasquez. We'll get Vasquez's thoughts on the UFC-WEC merger, why he thinks his WEC 52 opposition Chad Mendes has been "spoon fed" and how much longer he has left in the sport.

IIRC, his white shorts got stained pink in the wash before one of his fights. He wore them anyway, and people liked it so much that he kept wearing pink shorts from then on. At least that’s the story I remember.

I don’t watch boxing too much, but the interviews you get with David Kim are great. I really liked his point about how many great fighters seem to beat themselves in the ring before losing the fight and how they sort of coast on the mindset that “I’m the better, stronger fighter than you and because of that I’m going to win”
