Ricco Rodriguez to Fight at Light Heavyweight at IFC: Genesis

According to LowKick.com: (more pictures and updates here)
- The venue is expected to sell out with a total capacity of 10,000 spectators.
- It will be the first ever cage event in Israel.
- Ricco Rodriguez will fight in boxing shorts at 205. The weight cut will be definitely a tough one for him, but it's safe to say that he looks in the best shape of his career.
- Frank Trigg's opponent Roy Neeman looks like a legit Light Heavyweight.

Frank Trigg could make anyone look like a legit light heavyweight.

Yeah, I can't remember ever seeing Ricco look this good...
I’m hoping he performs well and makes it back into the ufc. This guy has always been good and it’s great to see him so focused again.
why is it mentioned that Ricco wil be fighting in boxing shorts?
am I the only one who found that comment both odd and out of place?

No,
I was confused by that remark as well.

It was a typo
Ricco will actually be fighting in boxer briefs, ala GSP

Don’t quite follow this. They saying Neeman is a big ww? Trigg has always fought at ww and mw, and I assume this is a welterweight fight

Maybe it’s how he always stands but Ricco still looks fat to me in this pic. Like he’s pushing his stomach way out while simultaneously slouching

I'm actually fairly excited to see Ricco fight

Soko should have been taking lots of tuneups following those bouts instead of going to the UFC.
Food goes in here
I feel bad for him though, he’s kinda like todays 205lb Overeem right now. But with dreadlocks and no judo.

Seriously
Shonie Carter (49-25-7) vs Jeremy Knafo (0-0)
How is that sanctioned?
this is NOT the first cage fight in Israel

Watch that fight here — Igor won by headbutt from the bottom. Not something you see a lot of these days..
