Shogun's Trainer Gets Shot After one of his training sessions for his next fight at K-1 MAX, André Dida, along with his brother Maurírio Veio, were getting a ride by one of their students in Canada. When they were getting inside the car a shoot-out took place outside the academy, Dida and one of his students ended up being shot. The bullet scratched behind Dida’s head, opening a cut and needing ten stitches to close it up. In only three days, Dida went back to training for his bout against Hinata on the 8th of November: "For all of those who roots for me, don’t worry because I am well trained and will give my all to represent Brazil and all of those who roots for me.
