You can mark that down as a "will-buy"
That is a fantastic card.
Should be a fun fight
I don’t know much about Carlos, but that kneebar was sweet. I think Jake will have too much experience though

Torn on this one...
That kneebar made me a fan of Rocha but Ellenberger is a fucking animal and he’s going to be hard to stop. That said he is very wild in his attacks so he may leave himself open. I’m excited for this one.
I’m going to have to go with Ellenberger to win this one based on defeating higher quality strength of competition. Ellenberger’s top game is no joke, he hits hard in the standup, and he has shown some very good transitions from standup to takedowns. This is honestly a pretty big step up for Rocha going from McCray to Ellenberger.

Yeah the thing is, I mean can Rocha actually get Jake down if Jake decides to stand up? That said though the one fault in Ellenberger’s game to me (aside from a questionable gas tank, which he did seem to have fixed last time out…) is his gameplanning – he had Mike Kyle easily outgunned standing and took him down anyway, for instance – and so to see him take Rocha down wouldn’t surprise me.
That is one hell of a drop in competition
Doesn’t make it a bad fight.
I suffer from IBS, otherwise known as "Influx of Billick Syndrome".
Oof
Tough break for Ellenberger, he goes from a co-main event against the consensus #2 welterweight to a relative unknown probably opening the card.
That’s not to say he can’t win but even if he blows out Rocha it’s not going to open as many eyes as a fight with Fitch would.
Fitch fights normally close eyes not open them
just sayin

With Franklin/Griffin and Jones/Bader on the card,
Fitch/Ellenberger was NOT going to be the co-main event.

Well my point still stands
semantics aside. Ellenberger went from a fight that could have put him in line for a title shot to a fight that may, um, I’m not exactly sure what he stands to gain from the W here.

I can’t wait to see Torres turn the mullet up to 11 for his PPV debut.

I wasn't aware Jake had a catch background?
I thought he comes from a standard freestyle wrestling pedigree.
