hope i can watch this on the net after it airs.
Mir, Aldo , Axe Murderer , Bones, Nightmare
If i got tied to a chair in a room with nothing but a TV and was forced to watch one thing for the rest of my life, it would be the WEC.
If you can watch Hulu
It might still be on there, but it was previously only available in North America.
Interesting take on him. I won’t spoil it tho.
Jab, jab, towards, short, fierce.

I have such a hard time with this. I hope they modified the rules to protect him from kicks, etc..
He’s an incredibly impressive guy. I hope he’s successful but doesn’t ever get into a fight that will get him hurt.

God thank you
I wrote an entire spiel about this then deleted it cuz I thought I’d set off everyones asshole radar (which I usually dont mind)
Sure his story pulls some heartstrings
Sure he embodies what it means to be an american, acheiving goals/overcoming odds etc.
But I have to put my foot down on this, as if I were a friend of his, and say no dude. You’re going to get hurt. I dont want you to get hurt

This
the second i saw this. I was like not this guy again. I know hes setting out to prove that his handicap doesnt hold him back and he can do anything, but he just cant do this. He has no arms/legs. He cant punch, kick, knee, elbow, or submit anyone. Just give it a rest, already.

I think I read he actually does have some good modified subs. I agree with your overall premise though...

What kind of submissions? Would it be a modified forearm choke dubbed the Knub Choke. Im not trying to be funny, but I just dont see how he can tap anyone out if he has no arms or legs to connect for pressure.
I have no clue what kind of subs or how it would even be possible. I just think I read that. I could be wrong….. I have been wrong once before.

Yea, I'm torn too
On one hand I think it’s so amazing, what he is accomplished. It’s such an incredible story.
On the other, I don’t want this to continue. It’s a disaster waiting to happen.

Sorry Kyle
Not to rain on his parade (you gotta hand it to him, he’s tenacious) but he doesn’t belong in MMA. I’ve heard his side of it but any promotion that let’s him fight is retarded. Insaw his first MMA match and his opponent just back pedaled and jabbed his face while leaning over for 3 rounds. The “I don’t let my handicap hold me back” argument doesn’t have a leg to stand on here. It’s a regulated sport and he’s basically a constantly grounded opponent. Just stick to wrestling.

Intentional pun?
The "I don’t let my handicap hold me back" argument doesn’t have a leg to stand on here.
am i wrong for laughing?
The days as champ are done... but the juggernaut known as Brock Lesnar will return.

He makes a handicap sound like slight deterrant
What he has is an “utter and absolute restriction.” I am very bothered with the fact that he cannnot defend himself at all in a fight. Thats like not being able to dribble in basketball AT ALL and to top it off he has NO team to do it for him (lol at Shaq).

He wishes he was a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. She should of asked him how he plans to win an MMA fight. Maybe if he somehow gets on top he can keep the guy down. But he’d have to do it in at least two rounds to get the UD. Oh well, let him fight. I can’t see anyone really going for the kill against him. How cold blooded would a guy need to be to KO him?
I would knock him the fuck out. And then raise my arms high in the air and shout in celebration.
If he wants to do it we are gonna do it. I’m not gonna hold back. I’m sure he wouldn’t want me to.

First off I respect the hell out of this guy. Second I don’t think he should be in MMA for a few reasons. First and most importantly I think he stands a very very high chance of getting hurt badly while he offers almost no potential to do any damage. Second this is the type of thing that makes the anti MMA people scream freakshow (which it kind of is.) Third…at least from my perspective it puts his opponent in an awkward moral position. I am the type of guy who has no problem beating some guys ass who is capable of defending himself, but I would have a very hard time doing anything that seemed damaging to Kyle. Its kind of anti everything I was taugh my whole life. Beating up a quadruple amputee seems like a big no no from the moral stand point but maybe I’m just a soft pussy.
I'm gonna give you three seconds; exactly three-fucking-seconds to wipe that stupid looking grin off your face or I will gouge out your eyeballs and skull-fuck you!
How would he tap?
I know the obvious answer would be verbally, but I’ve been in chokes before where I can’t even get a sound out because I can’t breathe.
