Michigan Athletic Commission to investigate the UFC 123: Falcao vs. Harris timekeeping issue according to MMA Weekly:
"Stephen Gobbo, Director of Legal Affairs for the Michigan Bureau of Commercial Services, the agency that oversees the state’s mixed martial arts regulation, said he was aware of the situation and confirmed that the incident was under review. He did not have a timeline for the investigation, nor could he comment as to what, if any, ramifications there might be."

I’m quite shocked at myself for not noticing this. Didn’t even have much to drink. What a major fuck up (them, not me).

Its never your fault is it. Until you learn to take responsibility for your actions, this relationship is over!!!!
Don’t even bother calling me.

I noticed but I thought maybe my reception was screwed up.
"Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."
I am glad that there is some sort of formal investigation going on.
It is mind boggling to think they couldn’t just call up the people involved and get something under way though. How many people are involved. I suppose it is just the normal bureaucratic red tape.
the MSAC will fly in harris and falcao and have falcoa apply a choke while everyone sits with a stopwatch

Yea he got screwed big time, they should immediatly award him the victory…. Oh he already has that. Can they give him a victory with an asterisk?
Falcao didn’t get screwed (in the end he still got the W), this is an issue the athletic commission needs to look into for their own sake not Falcao’s.
Tell that to Falcao’s relationship with Dana White
"You should work for 15 minutes to knock your opponent out, submit him, or improve your position to give yourself the best chance of doing either." - Dan Hardy
That has nothing to do with the time mix up that has to do with him not doing anything in the third round. The time keeper may of screwed up a early ending but he didn’t make the fight terrible at the end. You can’t blame the Michigan Athletic commission for how the guy fought, he caused that problem all on his own.
True that but...
Due to the fact that they screwed up, in what appears to be a sad but ironic twist, Gerald metaphorically got tapped out of the UFC. And yea they didnt do crap the 3rd round, but up until that point hes so far been pretty entertaining so far in all of his fights. Thats whats been the kicker.Someone needs to ask Dana if there is more to this than meets the eye.
Guys get screwed over all the time by fight officials messing up but they still go out and fight the rest of the fight. Yes this is a very deep situation with what seems to be more going on than we know about but none of that is the Michigan athletic commission’s fault. The lack of an early finish didn’t cause the suckage later in the fight.
i think if falcao would have landed that sub like he should have he may have beat phil out of sub of the night
Damn, if you go back and watch it, You will see they catch the bell ringer here falling asleep.
