The final WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo was presented with the first UFC featherweight title in a special ceremony at UFC 123.
Aldo a 24 year old 145 pounder is coming off of three straight WEC title fight wins over Manny Gamburyan, Urijah Faber and Mike Thomas Brown. He won five straight WEC fights by KO before getting the title shot.
He will defend his UFC belt against Josh Grispi in the co-main event of UFC 125 in December.
