lol... that's crazy.
The days as champ are done... but the juggernaut known as Brock Lesnar will return.
They're still conjuring enough lightning to animate Walker's next opponent
But yeah, the winner of this for the next title fight makes a ton of sense.

This is a damn good card,
especially considering that there are no title fights.
....And TUF Finale will blow it out of the water in the ratings.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
Ratings mean different things on pay TV and cable
Spike TV gets about 25 cents for each subscriber plus ad revenue. Showtime gets around $7 per subscriber. They don’t really care about ratings other than their value as an indicator of subscriber growth/retention.
Those numbers are so far off, it's not even right.
And then God created Saturn... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it.

Why don't you flash that real data, to get us started.
You made the claim, let’s see what you got.

17 channels, ~$2 per subscriber per month for the lot. I was being generous when I said 25 cents per subscriber.
Cable companies charge $13 per month for Showtime. They get about half. Now, it’s true that Spike has ad revenue, but I mentioned that earlier.
You made the claim that those numbers are so far off. Tell me what your basis was.

Lol
Being from nh I find that extra humorous. But also it’s funny they have such a defunct roster they’re giving him a title shot and at best he’ll be on a 1 fight winning streak. Keep it classy strikeforce :)

These stacked SF cards are few and far between...
"Last time a Russian hit a brother that hard, Ivan Drago killed Apollo Creed"- Some guy on Sherdog, referencing Fedor vs Rogers
In other news, if Hendo loses
he’ll still be given a title shot against Feijao.

The LHW title is a hell of a lot less exciting with Mousasi and Mo both on the outside looking in
I never bought either guy as a top ten fighter yet, but they are still two of the top prospects around and watching them build was fun. I suppose a blessing in disguise could be that they are won’t be held down by a championship clause.
Those guys need to wait
I have no problem with the winner of Babalu/Hendo getting a title shot. Both are great fighters, and the other possible contenders either just lost the title (King Mo), or haven’t had enough fights/wins to earn another shot yet (Mousasi). Hence, I don’t mind this.
Plus, it’ll be a great rest of the card as well. I can’t wait to see Paul Daley back on US soil.
I is confused
So basically Babalu has to have two title shot fights because he didn’t want to fight King Mo when he won his last “title shot”?

As do I
The main event of a highly anticipated triple-threat match featuring Hendo, Babalu, and Herschel Walker should be very exciting.
Hey UFC4 go fuck yourself, how about that? Fucking punk, I was just asking for the source that says lesnar gets 5 mill a fight, it’s obvious one does not exist. Bunch of gabronis on a site pulling figures out of your ass.

I've been waiting for a chance to point out
That we subscribe to Showtime now. This is a good card. I don’t like that StrikeForce just seems to randomly decide when a fight is for a title shot.
But I just realised this IS on the same night as The Ultimate Finale…so I know which one I’ll be watching live…definitely gonna record StrikeForce and watch it after though.
CPG
I thought you meant you would record the TUF finale..
isn’t that the one with freaking Bonnar Pokrajac as a headliner and ur going to watch that over Henderson Babalu, Lawler Lindland, Smith Daley, Antonio Silva Valentjin?
Yes
It’s also going to have multiple fights between guys from this season of TUF, that I’ve been watching weekly.
It’s also got Kendall Grove vs Demian Maia to boot.
CPG
I guess you’re a UFC fan before an mma fan, then. Absolutely ridiculous for a neutral mma fan to care more about this generally crappy card than a much much better SF card.
Demian Maia vs Kendall grove
Is better then this whole card excluding this fight.
I am a Babalu fan, but will be watching tuf live also.

Maia's being screwed with that card. How is he not main eventing it, or at at least being featured on a much better card?
Likely because
in his last fight, he struggled to put away Miranda, who he should have had his way with on the ground.
he missed like three deep armbars :-(

I did get into MMA via the UFC
But I’m sorry if seeing a bunch of up and comers in the form of the TUF castmates + Demian Maia vs Kendall Grove + a chance to see Bonnar be Bonnar interests me more than
Two veterans having a rematch
Walker fighting a can
Lawler vs Lindland
Daley vs Smith
I mean, am I interested in seeing each of those fights? You bet…would be more engaged watching The Ultimate Finale? You bet. Regardless of the ‘quality’ of the names in the fights…I’m going to get more into the TUF fight, and be more engaged, and thus the fights will be more exciting.
CPG
Absolutely ridiculous for a neutral mma fan to care more about this generally crappy card than a much much better SF card.
Much better because of what?
-A main event featuring an aging wrestler with overrated striking, who just got completely dominated in his last fight taking on a career gate-keeper?
-Robbie Lawler inflicting brain damage on a way-past-his-prime Lindland who doesn’t have the skills to compete anymore?
-A punching bag (Smith) vs. grappling dummy (Daley)? What is this, UFC 4?
-Antonio Silva vs. Valentijn Overeem with his outstanding 28-25 record?
-Herschel Walker struggling to inflict any damage on what will likely be another 1-0, or 2-5 can?
No thanks, I’d rather watch Hendricks vs. Story, two of the most promising welterweights in the sport, who will most likely put on a barn-burner. along with the always-dangerous Grove against the poetry-in-motion of Maia. A few fights with guys from a pretty competitive season of TUF are also stoking my interest a lot more than any of the fights on the Strikeforce card.
Keep shilling your anti-Zuffa agenda; your bullshit is painfully transparent.
Shields is a two division Champ not a gate keeper.
But besides that, I CO-SIGN THE SHIT OUT OF THIS COMMENT!!!!!

oh snap.. you meant Babalu
Disregard the shields comment. And also Babalu was the SF lhw champ for what ever That’s worth.

Watch it on Showtime ondemand
Personally I’d go with strikeforce over TUF only cuz they always have entertaining fights plus Paul Daley v Scott Smith

Lets face it.
SF has no PPV draws.
Their two best fighters won’t, or can’t fight (Fedor, Werdum, and Overeem).
Diaz is ok I guess.
They have only built up one or two guys from the lower levels.
"One should always be cold minded and remember that a ridiculous incident may occur any time."
Wait, this is Strikeforce, doesn't the loser get a title shot?
Confucius says:
"Baseball is wrong; man with four balls cannot walk."
Nah, they've changed their ways
losers get #1 contender bouts
Hendo loses to Shields, fights Babalu for #1 contendership
Lawler loses to Babalu, fights Lindland for a title shot. But if Lindland wins, he gets no title shot.
It’s SO simple

Warpath took a round off of Brett Rogers apparently. Perhaps a rematch with Mr. Nudge is in order.
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
I really hate that Mike Kyle is fighting for a living.
