Royce

Art Jimmerson, known to MMA fans as the one-gloved boxer from UFC 1, is now the boxing instructor at a UFC Gym.

From his interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMAFighting.com:

"The one glove, that was kind of a trick. I knew I was knocking cats out with fifteen-ounce gloves, so what am I going to do to someone with my bare hand? They had no idea who I was, so I wanted to wear the one glove so he'd think I wanted to hit him with that hand, but then I'd suck him in and hit him with the other, right? I told them I wanted to wear one glove and they were like, 'Fine, wear one glove.'"

yes. but it’s also not so bad. i mean, he was the 1983 national golden gloves champ. it’s not like he’s unqualified to be a boxing instructor for random joe schmoe’s

Art was a decent boxer in the early 90’s. He’ll do just fine for teaching people the fundamentals of pugilism.

Kimo isn't dead (unless you was joking and i totally missed it)

He came out the woodwork asking everybody when he died. Then he got busted for possession.

Harold Howard was a Japanese Jiu-Jitsu guy, supposedly. He wanted to bring the striking element of Jiu-Jitsu back. Boy did he!

My bad

But the whole shecanery over his death was kinda funny. Especially when BE jumped all over it and cleared it up 3 days later.
