Recently was discussing MMA with a Guy I work with, and it led to an interesting conversation. He proceeded to tell me about this fight he saw between " A guy with a red hair stripe" and "Black guy with the chains!" Now I'm not probably as hardcore a fan as I could be (my wife would probably argue that), but I dont remember Jason Miller, and Rampage jackson fighing in the UFC! Either way that brought a strange thought to mind that I figured I would toss out for my BElitist friends. What do you feel constitutes a Hardcore fan? Would a hardcore fan be someone who watches all MMA including Roy Jones Jr. "March badness" PPV (yes I'm guilty of buying that garbage PPV), or does it go even deeper then that? Does it require a certain Knowlede of all things Pride Fc, or is it as simple as knowing That WEC is merging with the UFC? We all kind of know what constitutes a Casual fan " Kimbo slice isn't he fighting Brock Lesnar next weekend?", but I'm sure we all see it differently concerning Hardcore fans. I want to know what do you think?
