I think Diego takes this one
And will be the next challenger to the featherweight belt. This fight will make the main broadcast too. Possibly right before the Aldo vs Grispi fight.
wait this is a prelim card?
put it on spike at least
plzzzz

Im sure this fight and
Brandon Vera vs Thiago Silva will be on Spike unless they save one for main card filler time. But this is how things are going to be for the forseeable future. A bunch of great lighter weight talent on the undercard due to merger.

Whats crazy is how good this card has gotten with the merger
And do you put McKee vs. Volkman on the Spike broadcast or Mike Brown vs. Diego Nunes?

Do an 1.5 hour special
and have Miller/Wiman, Brown/Nunes and Vera/Silva ;)

I love this idea to be honest
But if you have a NYE card like last year where people complained about the UFC repeating Spike Fights and showing all the bouts on the PPV broadcast.

McKee vs Volkman has potential to be pretty damn boring so I think the UFC would be hesitant to put it on the spike broadcast.
IMO it makes a lot more sense to give the spot to Brown vs Nunes since it should be an entertaining fight and it would help get casual fans interested in the FW division.

no shot in hell mckee/volkmann gets slated for spike. both have a style that could lead to a horridly boring fight. especially when you got guys that the ufc built up in exciting prelim matches like vera/silva and mike brown/nunes. they also been pushing cole miller. tavares was a well liked tuf cast member fighting a name guy in abroni whose styles make for a good fight. mckee fight is the only non interesting fight to me on this whole card.
Diego Nunes looked awesome in his last fight, really controlling and dominating Tyler Toner for 15 minutes in a pretty entertaining one sided contest. He would do this spinning kick to set up the takedown on Toner, it was flashy and cool but that’s not going to work against Brown. This is a really fun fight, I like both guys and I’m excited for it.

shtacked, put this bad boy on spike

Damn
Mike Brown must have really pissed of the Boss’s when he lost to Aldo and Manny back to back.
First he gets a KO in, like, 1 minute, on the undercard…and it doesn’t get broadcasted.
Now the former champ is fighting on the prelims again. Hopefully we will get to see him on the spike broadcast (assuming there is one).
Not to be picky
But the KO he got in like a minute was actually a pretty controversial TKO. Nothing spectacular really. And also, he didn’t lose back-to-back because he finished Anthony Morrison in between those losses.
It's not that Brown pissed anyone off
it’s that cards are going to be stacked for the forseeable future.
