Recently Fedor turned 34 years old and on his birthday he agreed to a rare one on one video for Russian TV reflecting on his career, faith, and family. It is rare to see Fedor give such candid, one on one interviews. When you watch and listen to this man it is amazing that he could be so polarizing to the MMA community. He speaks with a certain humility and discusses how uncomfortable it is living under expectations that are placed on him by the fans and media. He doesn't see himself as the rest of the world does and I think that is where much of the rub occurs. There is almost a melancholy to his tone as he looks around the world he lives in. That's kind of a Russian thing. I mean, it's not like "One Day In The Life Of Ivan Denisovich" is a romp. It's a good watch for anyone who has either loved or hated this man. Enjoy.
