Ricardo Almeida vs. T.J. Grant Targeted for UFC 124

According to showdown.ca:

Sources have informed that a welterweight match up between Canadain TJ Grant and American Ricardo Almeida has been proposed to both fighters by Zuffa, in hopes to add the two fighters to the growing fight card that is UFC 124 on December 11th.

TJ Grant looked really awesome in his last fight, I wouldn’t count him out.

I'd love to see TJ on a main card.

I think this is a tough fight for him, but I wouldn’t count him out if they start grappling. I do have a bias towards TJ tho :)

This is a really tough fight for Grant stylistically. Grant may be able to catch Almeida standing, but I kind of doubt it. On the ground and maybe even in wrestling, Almeida has the advantage. I think that this fight should be an entertaining enough fight though.
