Marcus Davis tells MMA Junkie that he'll be dropping to 155 lbs. for his next fight in the UFC, and plans to "finish out my career at 155 and try to entertain some people along the way before my old ass retires."
Davis mentioned Spencer Fisher, Sam Stout, and Dennis Siver as opponents he'd like to face at lightweight.

He's gonna look even worse and possibly gass early on
but good luck to him
The pain that you carry is the love that you never showed
Davis has only fought at WW
Maybe he can make the cut.
Michael Robinson leads the Seahawks in completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and QB rating.
Hopefully he manages to pick up a few bonus checks to add to his retirement fund, I always like the guy. He was a boxer that made the full transition in to mma (though he has gotten more and more one-dimentional). War Irish Handgranade!
I second all this
I think the Marcus who fought Lytle was a far superior fighter to the Post-Hardy Marcus

Spencer has his own gym
and Marcus goes all over the place…they both might spend some time with Dellagrotte but they’re not training partners.

i like marcus he’s a lil hokey and cheesey sometimes but all in all he is entertaining
glad he is embracing his mortality
maybe the move in weight will suit him
The sea refuses no river. The idea is to remain in a state of constant departure while always arriving. It saves on introductions and goodbyes. The ride does not require explanation - just occupance.

Wow. Marcus is 37 and he looks pretty defined and cut up when he fights. He’s going to be a skeleton at 155. He hasn’t been that light in a decade.

I'm actually happy to hear this...
I always loved his fights and felt that maybe at 155 he’d be a little more competitive. He’d have to lose some of that muscle that he’s packed on though, also you gotta consider that Penn is the same height and isn’t a twig. Yes I know there are different body builds among everyone, but I believe if he does it correctly, he could do well (and not look sickly) at 155.

I saw BJ up close without his shirt on at In N Out Burger after UFC 84. He’s not built big at all. I couldn’t believe how skinny he was.

Obviously, he wasn’t skinny skinny, but he does have a small to average frame. Marcus is definitely built way bigger.

Get that paper. I think he wants some fights that’ll give him the best chance for a bonus here and there. I’m all for it.

i remember he was saying in prefight interview (vs quick swick) that he does not cut at all to fight in WW. so i am sure cutting down to 155 wont be impossible .
I remember him saying that he walks around at 200lbs. He’s definitely not a small man.

Bad idea
37 years old and past your prime. The weightcut will be a killer and your cardio will be shite. I see a James Irvin type of situation happening in this fight.
