#5?
We need to be more elitist to reach number one.
Congrats to the staff.
Let’s see how far Kid Nate and Snowden hate can take the site in the future :D
#5 ummmm no..
Explore the net a little more gentlemen, when you’re done pulling your hair out and inventing new curse words you"ll find that BE is the only place to be.
Great job guys!

the list includes magazines, and i assume, radio and tv shows as well
KEY WORDS: MMA’S PREMIERE BLOG
CELEBRATE, BITCHES1ONE
it's mainly websites
also there has been no radio or tv shows listed. Only magazines have been Fight! and Fighter’s Only which both have accompanying web-sites (Fighter’s Only’s website is trash though.. rarely updated).

if only UG wasn’t such a clusterbang, i’d agree, but it does seem to draw the fighters in. hiowever, nested real-time forum updating or GTFO. SBNation owns all.

Bloody Elbow #5?? Bullshit - It's THE BEST EVA
MMAWeekly – The layout is an improvement over the terrible setup they used for years, plus it doesn’t seem to break nearly the same amount of news as it did two years ago.
MMAFighting has upped it’s game considerably, although I don’t like how their forums are presented, like they are news stories.
MMAJunkie is still the best IMO at straight news, but that’s all their good for. Their forums and discussions are Sherdog-esque. (Not good)
… and Sherdog is probably the best overall combo of news, features, and commentary for a major MMA site.
That being said… BloodyElbow is still better than all of these. They may not break as many stories as Junkie or Sherdog, but they report on nearly ALL MMA news on every site, something no other site approaches. The analysis is what really sets BE apart. No other blog or site goes into nearly as much detail on stories, and BE seems to be the only true “thinking man’s” MMA sight, as it looks at ramifications of the news on a level that other sites just can’t. Add this to the SBNation layout and support, and you have the best MMA site out there!
"Vo-cab-u-lary's necessary when diggin' into my library..."
i only go to mmajunkie and BE
mmajunkie for straight news
and BE for forums & discussions
I like BE because most of MMA sites only cover north american mma news but BE covers like minor organizations in other countries like KSW, DEEP, Shooto, and sometimes even Cage Force. I mean unless pudz is fighting, we never hear anything about KSW from any other sites except BE.

Fightlinker was on the list, too. I don’t feel like revealing the number.

Massive congratulations to you guys.

Really? Only #5?
I’ve been following BE for about 7 months now. Before this, I would get my mma fix from yahoo, mmaweekly, and mmajunkie. Those sites combined didn’t do for me what BE has. I honestly want to know why this site wasn’t ranked higher.

![Brazilian TV Exec Says UFC Coming To Brazil in 2011
Danilo Lavieri of Abril.com interviews Terence Paiva, RedeTV! sports director (translation by Chris Nelson):
While (RedeTV!) has been increasing the exposure of MMA, have you looked into broadcasting national events?
In truth, we can't. The agreement with the UFC doesn't allow us to show other fighting championships. But the way around this is to create something here, something like a selective (feeder) for the UFC. That we could broadcast.
Hence the idea of bringing The Ultimate Fighter to Brazil?
When we did the deal with the UFC, they wanted us to broadcast TUF. But our experience with The Contender showed that it doesn't do much. People watch, but it doesn't have the necessary impact. Brazilians want to see Brazilians in action. Brazilians don't like things captioned. So we want to bring TUF here, yes, with Brazilian fighters. But they're different ideas. One does not preclude the other.
Canal Combate's contract with the UFC ends in 2011. Do you really want to get this contract for yourselves?
Not quite. This makes it sound like RedeTV! is the enemy of others. It isn't. We want to broadcast something, something that goes beyond our current deal [21 days after the event takes place]...
And RedeTV! will be partnering with the UFC to bring fights to Brazil?
Also not so. People exaggerate, saying RedeTV! will bring (the UFC to Brazil) and things like this. We're a partner of the UFC and we're going to give them full support so they come here. In fact, they'll be here in 2011. That's for sure. There are some details missing, like where it will take place and whatnot. Now they view us as a market.](http://cdn0.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/133278/redetv_small.jpg)
