Brock Lesnar Sits Down With Jim Rome to Talk UFC 121
ESPN's Jim Rome read to Lesnar some of the trash that Chael Sonnen has talked about the heavyweight champion, including Sonnen's claim that "I'd slap you in your face and you wouldn't do anything about it, Brock," Lesnar had a simple retort: "I don't know who he is."
"Is he a fighter? I don't know who he is," Lesnar said. "I'm serious. Seriously."

awesome!
the following two things are signs of weaknesses:
stay silent when it's needed to speak up, and speak up when it's needed to stay silent.
Yeah man I agree I hate Lesnar but I gotta admit that was pretty damn awesome.

I love Brock Lesnar for that Sonnen retort. So effortless and more importantly, an indication of his elevated position.

well
he lives in the back woods and doesn’t use the internets.
I bet he doesn’t keep up with MMA other than heavy weights.

Er, he knows plenty of UFC stars beyond heavyweight. Don’t be absurd. He fought on a card with GSP, for crying out loud. He knew Tito wrestled in college. He knows the big names.

I believe that he doesn’t know who Sonnen is and doesn’t bother watching most PPVs.

Yea Brock knows the big names and he seems to know the wrestlers. So since Sonnen is the same age as Brock and was an NCAA Division I All-American wrestler at the University of Oregon, two-time national champion and a silver medalist at the 2001 World Championships would make me think Brock knows a little something about him.
Just BE.
Thank you. People are honestly buying that he doesn’t know who chael is. As if they forgot what he used to do for a living. Trying to be convincing while acting a certain way (uncertain who a major person is) was his bread and butter

So he's supposed to remember a guy from 10 years ago who didn't wrestle in his weight class?

Come on. He knows plenty, but he genuinely does not know Sonnen.
If the term ownage had not been ruined I’d go with that here.

It's more like that great line from Casablanca
Peter Lorre’s character says : “You despise me, don’t you Rick?” And Bogey replies “If I gave you any thought I probably would.”

So many levels of epic....
He’s keeping the beard, he’s humble AND he just CRUSHED Chael.

He’s certainly mellowed a bit. I think that really helps here.

Trying to figure out why people hate people is a mental treadmill.
Just like who you like and don’t bother trying to get people “on your side”.

Brock +100
On a sad, unrelated note, I check out some new MMA mags today at Barnes and Noble.
One had Chael Sonnen on the cover.
One had Chris Leben on the cover, and interviewed him about his life transformation as of recent.
I bet those editors are kicking themselves in the ass right now.
Will I ever get to where I'm going?
If I do, will I know when I'm there?
he doesn't use them anymore . that's why he's " lean " now
The pain that you carry is the love that you never showed
What sounds better?
“Man, I hate Jim Rome, but I love that he is a big MMA fan and gives it its due.” Or “I love that Jim Rome is a big MMA fan and gives it its due, but man I hate Jim Rome.”
Go with the one that sounds better.
BOOSH
I was watching this in a casino today and the volume was off. What stood out to me was how calm and relaxed he appears. I hope this isnt a bad sign because normally he is all irritated and in smash mode by now.

I noticed the same thing. I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad thing for him.
Wow, I really added to the conversation there. You are all welcome!

Yeah
I havent seen a lot of pre fight media from him being so loose you know? At weigh in for the Carwin fight he was so focused and zoned in he could barely even say a sentence to Rogan. I guess we will see tomorrow

Did Chael really say all that? It really sounds bad being read by Rome.
To think that Brock is really just learning the sport of MMA and is the undisputed HW Champion is crazy to think about. Imagine if he had sick hands?
You bet your sweet ass Chael said all that

West coast sucks a dick. 2Pac had nothing on Big and Easy E and Magic Johnson got HIV cause West Coast broads are dirty as hell. I wish I was from New Jersey because the shitty bagels and pizza I have out here are making my butthole bleed.
Is there anybody who doesn’t want to be BROCKLESNAR? That is the guy that I would love to be. Some of the traits that I love most is how respectfully he speaks of being a husband and a father. After that, he’s a fighter. One, that works his ass off to be the best on the planet. The rest, he really seems like he wouldn’t give two shits about (with Chael apparently being one of the two shits).
Did you see the size of that chicken?
thata boy!
"In this fight, Anderson showed he was human," Nogueira said. "He showed he could be weak. But he showed he is a fighter and he brings something from his heart. It was beautiful."

He actually came off really well in this interview. Not so meat headed so to speak. The end was just icing on the cake. I dunno who that is? ouch lol
