This is gonna be SO SICK
But where is Nakajima (or Nagashima whatever his name is, the cross dresser dude)
oh NVM it's Yuichiro "Jienotsu" Nagashima
He’s fighting Zambidis, that will be a fucking WAR
my picks will be:
zambidis, petrosyan, Drago, Sato
then it’s gonna be
petrosyan and sato
winner:
petrosyan (back2back)
arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics... even if you win, you're still retarded!
Jienotsu FTW
Anyone who has Halko Momoi do a song just for them cannot be defeated by normal mortal means.
In Armenia they only have all caps lock keyboards
that, and crippling poverty

The economic burden of such keyboards is simply too much for any nation to maintain. But they just can’t give up the CAPS addiction.

are there only 3 divisions in K-1? 70kg (154lbs) and then 100kg (220kg) then super-heavy? seems like that would exclude a whole hell of a lot of people. where do the world-class kickboxers between say 170 and 200 compete?

Yeah, well. Now they’ve also started a 63 kg division, hope to see more of that one. For fighters as you mentioned between 170 and 200, either they’ll have to attempt to cut down, or bulk up and fight at HW. No middle ground there, sadly.. not in K-1 anyway, there is of course possible to get fights at proper weight classes in smaller kick boxing and Muay Thai organisations though (but not as economically feasible).

i just feel like 170-200 is what most of the world’s best athletes weigh, and houses the body types that allow for the most exciting combinations of speed and power. I know the Japanese tend to be a bit smaller and would obviously build the promotion around their guys, but it’s kinda surprising to me to exclude the weight classes that probably have the largest pool of human beings worldwide from which to draw competitors.

not that i don’t like k-1. it’s freaking awesome. i don’t know much about it outside of the top WGP huge guys, but i’ve been watching any Andy Souwer fights i can find. i’d love be able to watch more kickboxing done by normal sized human beings rather than the goliaths of the WGP because as we know, due to the smaller worldwide population of in-shape people over 210pounds, HWs generally tend to be not quite as skillful.

Yeah, I agree. On the one hand that’s sort of the charm with K-1, either you’re small or big, but it has a lot of downside to it because we miss out on a lot of great athletes in that middle range. Would definitely like to see one more weight class in between MAX and heavies.

anybody know whats up with Andy Souwer? was he not involved in the MAX GP this year?

K-1 figured he was “too busy with Shootboxing” this year and just neglected to invite him. they also neglected to invite Buakaw, instead using an undersized Sagadpet as their Thai fighter and using Pajonsuk in a superfight.
this year’s S-Cup is stacked though. it’s a shame Souwer isn’t in the MAX GP, but he’s still gonna be fighting some legit competition.
