Seeing Fedor and Randy square off like that still gets me excited.
Sure it’s a bit past it’s prime, but I’d still enjoy seeing it.

I wouldn’t know who to root for. Two legends as well as two of the classiest most sportsman like fighters the sport has ever seen.

you have to think how he is thinking
i get to make a ton of money without the risk of someone knocking me out. now i wish they would not offer rampage no more roles so he can get back to his old form. he has become so plain as a fighter he needs to get out of wolf’s lair. if he doesn’t he is just goign to regress more as a fighter. machida is going make him look like a rookie if he doesn’t get back to his old form.
Expendables sequel?
Dammit they might as well do Jaws IV instead.

Jaws V, you mean.

Man I hope the expendables sequel isn’t a huge heap of nonsensical shit like the first one.
I dunno how Sly went from Rambo 4 to that junk.
The Expendables was fucking awesome.
The movie was exactly what I was expecting.

Randy is a terrible actor.
Terrible.
It had to be said.

So is Arnold, Sly Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Steven Segal …….. I could go on and on. They are action stars. Acting ability is secondary

I wouldn’t call Sly a terrible actor
His work in Cop Land was outstanding. Ditto for the original Rocky. When he works with good material, he has some solid acting chops. He just happens to be a guy who makes the vast majority of his money pumping out action movies.

Expendbles was an ok movie....
I only wish the camera wasn’t so fucking shaky durring all the damn fighting scenes!
So tired of Randy vs. Fedor talk. Not going to happen until they are both in their 50s at this point. Such a beating to even read any mention of it at this point.

err
They will never both be in their fifties. There is a 14 year age gap between then I believe

Just let him act
He will get chewed up and spat out and forgotten soon enough.
I understand Randy wants to star in another movie
But don’t expect us to pay to watch some shitty acting in a sequel to a crappy movie
that was awesome (their fight)
I understand the desire for Randy to do something else, strike while the iron is hot, he’s old(er) and getting paid well I would hope. I hold no grudges.
What didn’t you people like about a bunch of huge manly guys kicking the crap out of people and blowing things up??? I was there opening night for The Expendables and I will be there opening night for the sequel. It was exactly what it was supposed to be. If you want complex plots and great acting, don’t watch The Expendables. Go to the artsy theater or play Geneforge or something.
I’m not interested in Fedor vs. Randy. They are both past their prime but I think Randy is further past his prime than Fedor is. It’s too bad it couldn’t have happened earlier, but I think seeing them fight now would just be sad. It would be better than Randy vs. Coleman though.
It makes perfect sense for both Randy and Rampage to focus on acting now. They will make more money with less risk. It might not be ideal for us as fans, but it’s not hard to make that economic calculation. I know Randy is a freak but his body is not as resilient as it was ten years ago. He might be thinking about what he will be like physically and mentally at 60 or 70 years old if he gets beat on much more now.
Fedor vs Randy would still be awesome.
Fedor is still Fedor and Randy is still the same Randy of 15 years ago.
