Why do you love anything not zuffa so much?
I never understood why you’re so clearly extremely biased for anything not zuffa? You seem genuinely more excited for a strikeforce challengers then a numbered ufc event. Why is that?
Whut?
Just sharing CAF’s with community my good man.

My question wasn't meant for just this one fanpost =)
I’m just curious with your fascination with anything not zuffa, This is by no means an attack on you. I’m just curious with your dedication to mma related stuff thats not zuffa related. =)
Not at all. I cover things within the MMA world that some media outlets choose not to cover or go under the radar IMO, that is all. UFC already gets pretty good coverage and have partners like MMAFighting and Yahoo that do a great job at breaking their news, etc. I support all of MMA first and foremost and have posted the occasional UFC post when folks missed it back in the day, but like I said, not many outlets do a great job at covering events outside of the UFC. Hope you enjoy the posts! =)

Wait a minute here....
How am I supposed to keep complaining about UFC fighters not getting very much money from being in the UFC game if those same fighters are now in the EA game and definitely not getting any money for it?
Are people paying for these CAF’s and sending some money to the fighters?
Don’t get me wrong I don’t think it’s wrong to share these CAF’s. It’s just that in both cases fighters aren’t seeing very much money or no money at all from it. At least with the UFC the money pocketed from sales of the game can help raise the pay for all the UFC fighters. With the way EA is getting UFC fighters in the game not so much.
Just BE.
The CAF’s are user made. You want the fans to pay the fighters for making them in the game?

No. That is why I said this:
Don’t get me wrong I don’t think it’s wrong to share these CAF’s.
I was just making a point that people complain and say how bad it is that UFC fighters don’t get much or anything at all for being in the UFC game but those same fighters are now in this EA game and definitely not getting paid anything for it.
Basically all I’m saying is I can’t complain anymore about the UFC not paying fighters very much for being in the UFC game if those same fighters are now in this EA game for nothing as well. Even if they are user created they are still in the game and not getting paid.
Just BE.
Two completely different situations you are trying to compare there.
One forced you to sign your rights and image to be in a game where you may or may not get paid much but prevents you from being in any other video game where you can potentially make more money for yourself based on your image, where as here we have MMA fans who are making their favorite MMA fighters so that they can use them in the EA Sports MMA game.

I realize the difference but it also shows that if these fighters likenesses and images can be created and put into EA’s game for free then that sets the value on those likenesses at a very low value for the fighters. Meaning evidently the UFC paid market value to the fighters for using their images in their UFC game. So I have no reason to complain about the UFC’s pay of it’s fighter in their game now.
Just BE.
The difference is the fans don’t make money off of using their likeness, but the UFC does. That’s why people complain.
The analogy i like is this:
- it sucks if Marvel comics can publish Dr. Strange and pay Dikto shit because they own the rights. It’s sucks for that a record can sell all the Four Tops stuff and pay them shit while making a ton.
- it doesn’t suck if a fan draws a picture of Dr. Strange or sings a Four Tops song in the shower.
- it goes back to sucking if the fan tries to sell his own Dr. Strange comic without paying the Dikto estate or records a Four Tops song and sells it on iTunes without cutting them in.

I remember the first time I played city of heroes, they were only hulk, superman, x-men clones. Then the forbid players to create copies of licensed characters. So I guess it could be done, for the online part. The UFC is maybe working on it right now.
Nobody could prevent you to create you own Akyama and play with it locally though. What could they do about? Take out the entire create your fighter option? I didn’t see anybody complain when the UFC game allowed this option, I clearly saw a bunch of Fedors out there.
I'm a lover not a fighter
The Lidell works pretty well. Just one question, how could you implement the dick sword tattoo? Do they actually propose a dick sword tatoo in the game? I’m not big on CAFs so I haven’t really checked the possibilities yet, just try to put my face on one and failed miserably.

Not sure, haven’t tried the CAF stuff yet, will do it soon. =)
