I recently got to sit down with Dave Bautista.  After many questions/answers, he filled me in as to who he thinks is the man to beat Brock Lesnar:

MMBB: Well someone being so new to the sport, he’s by far the best or most dominant heavyweight out there.

Bautista: By far… well I wouldn’t say by far, I think Overeem is the best heavyweight.

MMBB: But could he stop Brock’s takedowns?

Bautista: I think he could beat Brock.  I do.   I think that Alistair Overeem is the best heavyweight in the world.  I really believe that!             

He was very forth coming and honest about how negotiations are going and more importantly how training is going.  I thought his thinking Overeem would beat Brock was a good prediction that we will probably never see.
