Mika Nagano will meet South Korea's Seo Hee Ham in the semifinals of Jewels' lightweight title tournament on Dec. 17 in Tokyo. The winner of that bout faces the winner of Sakura Nomura vs. Ayaka Hamazaki later on that same night. The semifinal bouts were determined by a random draw at Sunday's Jewels show.

Should be a great fight
but I had read that Seo Hee Ham had recently been released because she had taken a few kickboxing matches in Gladiator. any clarification or news on why/when Jewels re-signed her or anything else regarding the situation?
That’s the first I’d heard of it. Gladiator is affiliated with Deep, as is Jewels, so I’m not sure what the conflict would be.
Ham actually “fought” Antonio Ko-Inoki (a comedy wrestler with a “mini Inoki” gimmick) at a Gladiator show last night, which is why she wasn’t at the Jewels show for the draw.

Frank Pozen’s blog had mentioned it about a month ago and said that the Ishioka-Haga fight was for Ham’s slot, but obviously that’s not the case. either way I’m really looking forward to the semis and the conclusion of the tournament, and also of all the Rough Stone GPs. And yeah, I knew she had taken the “fights” in Gladiator and read that was the reason she was removed. Just bad info on Pozen’s part I guess. Thanks.
