Nick Diaz, Fighter. KJ Noons’ arrogance will be his undoing this time around.

Are those scars above both of Nicks eyes or did he visit a salon recently.

I laughed at that too
It’s like his mind is thinking about how he’s going to roll his next joint while his mouth is fighting for scraps of brainpower to squeak out jibberish.
Yeah...
this video needs to be shown before people vote on legalizing Pot in Cali…it would be case closed.
I like Fedor, it’s just his fans that are intolerable...and his management.
Or not...
Anyway, even if the Diaz brothers weren’t high they would still say stupid ass shit.
I have a lifelong
friend who is manic-depressive (bipolar or whatever the accepted term of the day is) and he speaks exactly like Diaz when you ask him questions. It’s like his mind has trouble organizing thoughts. Regular conversations are totally normal but if you have to get answers out of him for something or an explaination….forget it. He is also on meds.
WAR Diaz!!!
He was getting tooled on badly.
No idea where he’s getting this from.

Been forever since I've seen it,

it's hilarious
that in order to get diaz to promote this fight you need to hijack him outside of his gym.

Except for that whole full scale, multi-week documentary thingy.

Most of this tape like all Nick Diaz tapes is Nick rambling on. I can’t belive this but I actually do agree with Nick on one thing when it comes to Jason Miller.Thats Miller punishing fighters that he totaly outclassed and could of finished alot sooner. The 1 fight its was obvious to me and Miller and FEG should be ashamed for is the Katsuyori Shibata fight, That man took tons of unnecessary punishment and one hell of a beating and it was totaly uncalled for. Miller could of stoped that fight when ever wanted in my opinion but seemed to enjoy just beating him senseless instead of getting the quick finish or sub.
Now if we could just find a way for him to give Aoki the works…

And?
He looked that way during the Gomi fight, what happened in that.
I agree he was getting beat in that fight, but that doesn’t mean he would have lost.
And because he lost by a doctor stoppage....
That means 100% he couldn’t have lost the fight?
I am a Diaz fan (clearly) and I was angry that the Doctor stopped the fight initially, but after rewatching the fight it was clear his performance was effected by the cuts and the fight wouldn’t have ended well for Diaz and the stoppage was certainly justifiable.
But on that note I think it only takes 1 takedown for Diaz to end this fight. So the last fight could have gone either way hypothetically, but definitely advantage KJ if that fight continued. But again Diaz had a small margin to win that fight.
Okayyyyyyy
Double type fail. BE doesnt like when I use quotation marks.
Instead of (quote) That means 100% he couldn’t have lost the fight? (End quote)
I meant to say: that means 100% he WOULD have lost the fight.
And now I will use the preview feature.
only takes 1 takedown for Diaz to end the fight, huh?
Like the takedown and half guard top position he actually got in his first fight against Noons?
I guess you forgot that Noons escaped that in about 15 seconds…
IMO.....
Diaz was right about winning the fight up until the cuts occurred. I rewatched the fight relatively recently, about a month ago, and noticed that Diaz was doing a pretty good job and imo winning the fight by a few combinations until he got blasted by knees shooting for a takedown.
I suggest people rewatch the fight to gain a better perspective of how the fight went down, I wouldn’t say it was a whoopin by any measure, esp before the cuts occurred.
Just watched the fight this week
Not sure if you watched it on some shitty stream online but I watched it when they replayed it on Showtime last week. Noons was connecting more punches and harder ones too. Diaz was obviously hurt too when he was practically asking Noons to go to the ground with him.
I am talking about
Before the cuts occured, watch the first 2-3 minutes of the fight. KJ was winning?? not by a longshot….
sooo Nick was winning until......
He started to be out struck?? Doesn’t sound like something to hang your hat on.

lol
But seriously, this should be a good fight. My money is on Nick, unless he tries to box him. If he uses his Kickboxing and bjj he should do well. Kj caught him slipin the first time, I don’t think its gonna go down like that this time.

Just watched the first fight
Stopped after the first round which in my opinion was a potential 10-8 for Noons…he landed that big knee on Diaz as Diaz shot in…on multiple occasions he stuffed the takedown, and he dropped him with that big right.
I’ve grown to like both of these guys, I like the idea of Noons potentially being a SF WW champ, and dropping to challenge for the LW title…but the idea of Diaz avenging this loss is also a cool one.
CPG
So by your analysis:
Big nog had rounds 2 & 3 10-8.
both rounds he landed big knees (although to the body) , on multiple occaisoins stuffed the takedown, but I will admit he didnt drop bader with a big right but wobbled him in the 3rd I believe.
I hate noons
But like Diaz I’m hoping noons wins and Diaz gets pissed and leaves SF(whats his contract?) and he cleans up his act and god to the ufc and then pigs fly. But really I wish he fought in the ufc

Diaz interviews
Always remind me of the movie Bedazzled when Frasier is the basketball player getting interviewed lol tell me someone knows what I’m talking about. " well I think I fought good, and I went out there and fought good, and then I think I was fighting real good and pretty much I think I fought real good"
by Bloodsport on Oct 2, 2010 12:08 AM EDT via mobile reply actions
you jus gotta go out there and give 110%
And I feel like I did that and it was good. And I. Gave 110%.

Diaz has every right to rag on Noons
First off Diaz only lost based on cuts had the fight gone longer we could have seen a different ending like the Gomi fight. KJ did land some good shots on Diaz, but at that point in Diaz’s career you could breathe on him and he’d bleed. After KJ won that match by cut he talked a lot smack about Diaz even claiming he was the reason Nick had to get plastic surgery. When in fact, it was primarily the wars that Diaz had with Riggs and Gomi that caused the scar tissue. People also tend to forget that KJ was supposed to fight Diaz on CBS but declined due to a contract dispute and vacated the title. Luckily for us, these two will finally settle this dispute, lets hope Strikeforce markets it right.
I think KJ told him to take it easy on him
This is a really tough fight for Diaz. KJ is going to have faster hands and counters way more effectively than Diaz’s other opponents. Nick has to make sure he doesn’t chase him like last time and try to keep the distance with his reach . Sure, go ahead and get the clinch when it’s there but no reaching. I have a feeling Nick will be more patient and let KJ come to him a bit more.
Last fight was too short. Bring extra Vasiline
