If injuries don’t set in, this is starting out looking like a really good card.

Really, really liking how frequently BJ’s fighting these days.

YUS

It’s totally contrary to his old 2 times a year attitude, I’m loving the new dedication.

Surprised me too. I am also surprised that he’s not “bored” with the competition in Lightweight in the UFC. I honestly believe that the loss to GSP may have been the best thing to happen to Penn as far as giving Penn new focus.

by chrisbboy82 on Jan 6, 2010 7:35 PM EST up reply actions

I think it’s the contrary.

He IS bored at LW…that’s why he wants to clean out LW at soon as possible.

His heart is at WW…and the fastest way to get back there is to clean out LW as fast as possible.

I can see that point of view actually

At the end of the day though, the fans win because we get to see one of the pound for pound best MMA fighters fighting frequently and with focus.

Me too.

Though I’d would really take some good hyping for any LW contender if Penn is going to fight every other 5 event.

Actually disappointed (as he is) that he’s not fighting sooner—on course for four this year instead of three.

WAR BJ!!!!!

i always wanted him to fight this often with this much ferocity but never actually thought it would happen..

Wow UFC 111 and 112 are STACKED

Looks like they are trying to make up for some of the recent cards.

by fozo on Jan 6, 2010 6:49 PM EST reply actions

the UFC are sure going to recoup the losses in PPV buys from 108’s loss of lesnar

by Riley_96 on Jan 6, 2010 7:09 PM EST reply actions

This is a pretty awesome card. Return of Anderson and BJ. The UFC is making up for lost time I guess.

by Neil Manich on Jan 6, 2010 8:49 PM EST reply actions

I don’t think they are particularly. This is how cards will be normally without the injury plague, it’s not like they’re purposely stacking certain soon cards to compensate for 108.

by Ninkynonk on Jan 6, 2010 9:37 PM EST up reply actions

i know maynard is going to get the shot, because he’s definately beating diaz, but i’d rather frankie edgar

by Austin Martin on Jan 6, 2010 9:37 PM EST reply actions

BJ vs Frankie

It’s going to be Frankie Edgar his new manager Sheri made it happen! I know MMA math would say it’s Gray!! But when has MMa math really every Pan out! So for you bet folks out there put your money on Frankie fighting BJ in the UAE

by IGUILLOTINE on Jan 6, 2010 11:37 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

gray by tko. diaz got so lucky against melvin, who if he wasnt so cocky would’ve definately won that fight. gray had much better boxing his last fight, and i think he’s goin to ktfo diaz. 1st.

by Austin Martin on Jan 6, 2010 9:40 PM EST up reply actions

Agreed I think nate takes this fight!! Gray will try and keep it standing but I see a triangle or guillotine win for Nate!

I don’t understand, why put two title fights. Do they have a main event for Memorial Day Weekend?
