Exclusive Post-Fight Interview with Jason David Frank
The guys at Houston MMA blog The Cage Door have an exclusive post-fight video interview with former green Power Ranger Jason David Frank, who was victorious in his amateur MMA debut last night in Houston.
Frank, who also owns the Jesus Didn't Tap line of mixed martial arts clothing, debuted against Jonathon Mack. Despite being rocked early, Frank was able to recover and won the fight by omo plata in the first round.

Whatever, I lost interest with him because he didn’t walk out to Power Rangers music or anything associated with Power Rangers. What a shame, also he cranked that arm after the tap a little bit.

i thought he held onto it a bit long, but no one else was complaining about it. so i chalked it up to his legs being caught in the omo plata while the ref was pushing him off. dont know, but would be curious for others takes on it.

Didn’t look terrible to me. He didn’t even have the arm in the worst possible position (it was still mostly straight!), and it looked to me like he was trying to disentangle himself and get up. At that point, he wasn’t even holding his opponent down; he could have simply rolled out of it if it was over the top.

Eh, to me it looked like he put a little extra on the finish, maybe he just doesn’t know how to disengage from that position, but it’s not that complicated.

The only reason I watched the fight was to see if he came out to the power rangers theme.
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.

Precisely, and now that he didn’t do anything Power Rangers related I will no longer care when he fights :(

Disappointed
Awww, I wanted him to come out to the Green Ranger theme wearing the Green Ranger mask. Maybe there is hope left. JDF’s entrances have the potential to be second to the great Genki Sudo if he keeps it PW related.
