Strange, wonder why he choose a no name org?
I mean look, he clearly couldnt hang with elite UFC fighters, shit, he never even fought any real top UFC MW, but he lost anyway.
But he is a known fighter, has a solid record, anyone surprised that Strikeforce didnt go after him? They could have def used him to add more depth to there MW div. Why sign with a total nothing org? Even MFC would have been better than this, they are atleast known.
Still think SF should have went after him, what is SF doing? Same thing with like Thales and others, why let MFC sign them, SF should be picking up any decent fighter the UFC lets go.

I agree, I would have liked to see Kang in Strikeforce, but maybe he needs some time away from the big shows to get his head together and build some confidence.
it’s gotta suck to go to the UFC with big hopes and lose.

Especially considering this: in BOTH of his UFC fights, he was winning in the first round. He was beating Belcher up on the feet and the ground, and while he didn’t control Bisping well on the ground, he did knock him down with a punch, stay on top, and do some damage. I think it’s clear that Kang has some kind of a mental block that if the fight doesn’t go exactly how he planned or the adversity cranks up, he kinda… forgets how to fight. Maybe being in Montreal, he’ll go see the same psychologist that GSP went to after the Serra loss.

I think strikeforce is still trying to pretend they are big league, so they’d be reluctant to sign someone that ufc just released. surprised mfc didn’t grab him
