Wonder if this will actually happen. I wouldn’t be surprised if the previously announced Santiago/Misaki rematch goes down instead.

I wouldn’t say no to Misaki/Doerksen, that’s for sure.

Sweet. This is the way it should be, not Khalidov having to win another fight to get a title shot that he’s already earned by beating the champ.

Why did KSW announce it though?

Our site posted the info about Khalidov vs. Doerksen match-up first and I guess they jumped the gun a little to announe that Mamed agreed to face Joe. It’s possible that Sengoku changed their mind about Santiago opponent and decided to switch it.

This fight does make a lot more sense, so I give them kudos for changing it.

This makes much more sense than having Khalidov fight Doerksen first. Misaki/Doerksen is a good title eliminator.

Will Misaki/Doerksen be on the same card?

Nothing is officially up on the site. They only have Maxi and Santiago listed as participants…

LOL

KSW confirmed the other fight beforehand. Now they are reverting to this fight?

To be fair they confirmed that Khalidov agreed to fight Doerksen not the fight itself.
