UFC 108 Results: Mark Munoz Makes Ryan Jensen Tap to Strikes
After a brief hiccup in his UFC debut against Matt Hamill, it appears Mark Munoz has found a home at 185 pounds.
Munoz found himself in trouble early, having to defend a takedown and striking flurry from Jensen in the first ninety seconds of the fight. Munoz remained composed, however, and took down Jensen from the clinch. Munoz postured up and started landing bombs, causing Jensen to turn over and turtle up.
Jensen appeared to tap after a barrage of punches, but referee Mario Yamasaki didn't see it and allowed the bout to continue. Eventually, Jensen voluntarily went limp and Yamasaki stepped in.

A great showing from your countryman. As I was watching with my friends (who are more of the casual variety of fans), I said “Anton’s gonna be thrilled with this!” Of course, they quickly replied “who?”

That gnp was vicious looking, fast and hard. Quite scary. With his heavy hands, wrestling pedigree, and the guys he trains with, the future is bright for Munoz. 185 needs all the talent it can get, maybe he can become a contender.
