According to a Shine Fights official press release, PRIDE and EliteXC veteran Murilo "Ninja" Rua (18-10-1) will battle UFC and Strikeforce veteran Falaniko Vitale (26-9) at Shine Fights III. The event will take place sometime in the Spring of 2010.

Rua is coming off two straight victories from battles in Brazil's Bitetti Combat promotion in which he defeated Jason Jones and Alex Stiebling, both via TKO. He had some unfortunate losses in late 2008 and early 2009 as he dropped an unanimous decision to Riki Fukuda at DREAM 8, a fight in which Fukuda took the fight on very short notice. He also was stopped by the heavy-handed Benji Radach at EliteXC: Heat in October of 2008.

Vitale hasn't fought since October of 2008 in which he lost a decision to Frank Trigg at Strikeforce: Payback.

Anyone know if they’ve got any kind of a deal to televise their events or not?

I know the last one they had was on internet PPV but they’ve built their roster up quite a bit since that show.
