Bloody Elbow Betting Game: UFC Fight Night 20 Results

I'm touched that FightLinker's "jackals" find being repeatedly and without change below us such a desirable position. Anyway, in the run up for this event it was my stated desire to stay in 2nd place. We have in spite of that slipped to 4th. Fear not, however, as we have Ubernoober as some sort of salve. His 85 points earned through correct fight predictions net him the bronze jpeg out of the 3618 on MMA Playground making at least 1 prediction on UFC Fight Night 20. Moopwontplay was tied for 4th on the event with 82 points. Congrats.

As for the wagering side of things, termin8r199 beat out the rest of his BE competition with $8,100 "earned" on this event. $7,055 of said total came off a $1,500 Maynard/ Simpson/ Story parlay. This puts termin8r199 at $11,163 for the season after 2 events, just 10 fake dollars short from yngjzy's $11,173.

Important: If you wish to join the BE betting camp, send me a message on MMA Playground with your BE user name or leave a comment in this thread so I can send you an invite. Please make sure your MMA Playground login name is the same as your BE name or as close as possible so we can give you the proper credit.

Leben, Maynard, Simpson for +$3,147

I’m getting better at this, so long as Houston Alexander doesn’t fight.

i think you guys need to eat crow on some of those picks, they definitely influenced everyone else and the results show it

Good one, blame the staff cuz your picks sucked.

I thought Leben didn’t train for this fight!?

Same, I had a Maynard/Story/Silva parlay going for -480.

Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

Anyone else lose big on Escudero?

I was contemplating betting it all on him as it seemed like the obvious choice to me, luckily i only got hit for -500

I bet half of my $3389 stack (I did well at UFC 108) on a Maynard, Harris, Escudero parlay. Oh well.

Roll building strat...

Do I pick the sure fights or the smart bets. I thought Diaz was a good bet at + anything, but I think Maynard was a better pick. Any thoughts what strat is better with a 1.2k roll?
