Image via Fight Magazine

Denver-area fighters Eliot Marshall (3-0 UFC) and Duane "Bang" Ludwig (2-1 UFC) have been added to the card for the UFC's March 21st Versus broadcast from the Broomfield Events Center in Colorado.  MMA Weekly reports that TUF Season 8 cast-member Marshall will face veteran Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko (4-2 UFC), while Ludwig will look to rebound quickly from a submission loss to Jim Miller after filling in on short-notice at UFC 108, when he takes on fellow striker, Spencer "the King" Fisher (8-4 UFC):

Sources close to the fight confirmed the bout(s) to MMAWeekly.com on Monday.

Current rumored UFN 21 card:

Jon Jones vs. Brandon Vera
Sean Sherk vs. Clay Guida
Anthony Johnson vs. John Howard
Elliot Marshall vs. Vladimir Matyushenko
Duane Ludwig vs. Spencer Fisher
Brendan Schaub vs. Chase Gormley

It's good to see they're giving Bang another shot

he stepped up on short notice for the Miller fight and so it would have been really shitty to cut him. But he will lose to Fisher so get the scissors ready.

The question is – Will Matyushenko make the main card?

I'd like to think so

Marshall has been 3-0 in the UFC and has had some really exciting fights. He’d be worthy of increased exposure if he can best The Janitor.

Which he won’t.

I am loving this card

And, quite honestly, every card is starting to swing back to the quality we’ve come to expect from the UFC before everyone sprained their knee simultaneously.

Seems probable

He also trains with Marshall. Where’s BJJDenver??

Sorry, Eliot asked me not to say anything.

the fights are out now, so…

Loving Eliot getting the opportunity to fight a known guy. This is a huge fight for him.

Appreciate Bang getting another shot, wish he would train on the damn ground!

Good stuff.

Spencer Fisher

should be fighting better opponents than Bang Ludwig.

Coming off a destruction at the hands (and elbows) of Joe Daddy

I don’t think Spencer needs to worry about “better opponents” right now. Ludwig’s probably a better technical striker than Fisher, so it’ll be interesting to see if this fight ends up on the ground.

You need to look up Bang’s record and opponents.

Well, that settles that.

Interesting fight for Schaub. I think that Schaub will take this, but I hear that Gormley is pretty good himself. These fights look really good, and I am surprised that Guida is fighting Sherk. Guida is coming off a two-fight losing streak, and he may lose to Sherk as well. I want Rumble to KO or TKO Howard. I can see The Janitor smothering Marshall for the win. Fisher beats Ludwig as well.
