Pros Pick UFC 108: Evans vs Silva

Pat Miletich: I feel Rashad will bounce back nicely from his loss to Machida. It’s never a good idea to fight a tough guy that’s coming off a loss. Rashad can decide where the fight takes place, and I feel he learned his lesson by not using his wrestling against Machida. As long as Rashad remembers what got him to the dance, he will be fine. I don’t expect Rashad to wrestle all the time, but fighters who don’t mix it up when they fight become too predictable. Rashad is the better athlete and should be fine if he keeps Silva guessing and keeps his chin down. Rashad’s note to self: "This is a fight and not a boxing match, and I can wrestle."

Pros who picked Silva: 9
Pros who could not decide: 1

New season!
I like Thiago, but like stated above I always trust a tough guy coming from a devastating loss.
Like Griffin, thiago Silva after the machida fight, Bisping, etc.
I really like this fight, I like both guys and can’t wait to see it.
And Btw, Happy new year everyone or like we say here Bonne année à tous!

I think Rashad can take this fight, but I doubt we see much wrestling from him. He probably sees himself as the superior striker and will be content to outwork Silva on the feet.

Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

I think he IS the superior striker..

but I think he does have to mix things up and take him down or clinch with him a few times to keep Thiago guessing.

Silva by KO

I think Rashad will try to stand and bang with Silva and will end up getting hurt.

What if Silva will murder Rashad and flip him off afterwards? My god, I’m scared already…
