Eddie Bravo: I'd fight Royler Gracie in MMA:
"Hell yeah, for me it would kill two birds with one stone. One bird is obviously the rematch with Royler while the other is proving that 10th Planet works within MMA. I want this rematch. I want to make it happen."

Or… just have another no-gi grappling match? Neither of these guys are “mma” fighters. What an odd thing for Eddie to say, and I think it’s already been shown that 10th planets system works in MMA… just not all of it.

Not when being punched in the face?

I’d eat my hat, but yeah that is a possibility.
Don’t get me wrong, his grappling system has a lot of neat stuff in it and works very well, I just look at it like another weapon though it’s no better or worse than normal submission grappling, it’s just a certain strategy to employ.
I just don’t know how Eddie takes a shot when he’s grappling, he hasn’t really had to deal with that… ADCC can get pretty rough though from what I’ve seen haha.

Um, calling UFC – make this sh*t happen!
Only thing is, the universe might implode if Joe Rogan has to commentate an Eddie Bravo fight.
Royler would crush Eddie.

I think they’d both gas in seconds if they did anything other than grapple.

update
MMA Unltd.com would like to formally and officially apologise to Eddie Bravo for the interview we had posted on our site.
It has come to our attention that the interview contained information that was not correct and that Eddie Bravo had not made comments quoted in the body of the text.
Eddie Bravo did not say that Royler Gracie was “ducking him” nor did he say that he would fight Royler in an MMA bout.
We can only apologise to Eddie Bravo and any other athletes and fighters mentioned in the interview and hope that this will serve as a complete retraction of the whole article.
Whilst MMA Unltd.com does its upmost to ensure all of the material published is correct and true, sometimes comments made by freelance writers, who in no way represent the magazine or the website, are misinformed.

Ah, ok, that’s better then. It sounded like a weird thing for a guy like Eddie to say…
