Rumor of the Day: Antônio Rogério Nogueira vs. Dan Henderson rematch as UFC 105 main event?:
"According to sources close to the fighter, 'Little Nog' will be offered a light-heavyweight fight against ex-Pride superstar Dan Henderson in a bout which would top the bill in Manchester."
"However, should Nogueira or Henderson turn the fight down, we understand welterweight legend Matt Hughes is being considered as an alternative big name to appear at the MEN Arena on November 14. It is rumoured Hughes could be handed a shot against highly-rated Mike Swick."
"The Count will take on Denis Siver in the co-main event, while The Outlaw faces Kim Dong-Hyun."

I'd enjoy watching Bisping get beat by a tiny German guy.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
Don’t forget, if it wasn’t for America, British people would be heckling us in German.

if it wasn’t for britain, americans would still be living in teepees.

I don’t think Henderson should accept a fight at 205 right now if he wants to fight Silva any time soon, bad choice if this happens (not that the fight wouldn’t be great… again).

Lil Nog vs. Dan Henderson is actually a fantastic alternative for a main event. But the problem is, will people rush to buy tickets to see Little Nog, who has barely any name value in MMA to the average UFC fan? Hughes vs. Swick will at least sell more tickets, but damn… give me Nog/Hendo!
Maybe talking about a potential title shot at the same card really made Dan hold his stance that he won't fight at 185 unless it's a title shot..
At one point the company talked about doing three shows in November.
.
UFC 106 on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas, headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin for the heavyweight title, now looks to be the biggest business show for the remainder of the year, since it also includes the return of Tito Ortiz.
.
There was also UFC 105 in Manchester and a third unannounced show.
.
There were two main events in play for those dates: Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson for the middleweight title and B.J. Penn vs. Diego Sanchez for the lightweight title.
.
When Jackson-Evans was in danger for Dec. 12 in Memphis, Tenn., Penn-Sanchez was moved to that date. Then Silva, who had complained about facing Henderson again (Silva won via choke in March 2008), told company officials he would be undergoing surgery.
