MMA Madness is reporting tonight that UFC middleweight Dan Miller is suffering from some sort of ailment, and will be forced out of his scheduled fight with C.B. Dollaway at UFC Fight Night 19 on September 16th.  Brazilian Jay Silva (5-0) will be stepping in on very short notice to make his UFC debut against Dollaway next week:

Dan Miller had to pull out of his upcoming UFN 19 fight with CB Dollaway, after it was discovered an infection was discovered on Miller, MMA Madness has learned.

An opponent has already been brought in to replace Miller, Dollaway (8-2) will be taking on Jay Silva (5-0), a newcomer looking to make a splash in his UFC debut.

Silva is a protege of Quinton Jackson and Cheick Kongo, and seems to be quickly absorbing many of their techniques, with five stoppages to his name in five career fights, including two separate KOs by knee.  The Rio de Janeiro native last competed on August 15th at the Call to Arms event in California which also featured UFC alums like Mike Dolce, Roman Mitichyan, and Gabe Ruediger.  In his bout, Silva knocked out Ray Lizama with punches in the third round.

Like UFC 103 which follows three days later, UFN 19 has been plagued with injuries and subsequent match-up shifting.  To quickly recap:

-Ronnys Torres pulled out of his bout with Jeremy Stephens and was replaced by Justin Buchholz.

-An injury to Chris Lytle forced Jake Ellenberger to replace him against Carlos Condit.

-Kyle Bradley pulled out of his bout with Sam Stout, and was replaced by Phillipe Nover.

-Aaron Simpson vs. Dan Miller became Aaron Simpson vs. Ed Herman, which was then moved to UFC 102, and replaced by Dan Miller vs. CB Dollaway, which is now Jay Silva vs. CB Dollaway.

The current UFN 19 card now stands as:
