I think that it is just Rampage's personality
I remember seeing the Mo Lawal/Rampage spat and found it kind of funny to the point where I can’t tell when Rampage is serious or not. The thing about the Rashad/Rampage dynamic is that Rampage is more of the goofy, joking guy whereas Rashad is more of the straight shooter. In a buddy cop movie, Rashad would definitely be the straight man and Rampage would be the comic relief.
I’m erect. Ya feel me?
But why the hell is Rampage telling Kimbo he doesn’t need to train???

Im legit excited for this season of TUF for the first time in ages.
I am the bastard love child of Junie Browning and Diamond Dave Kaplan.
It’s great that they can create a lot of excitement and hype without having to drastically overhaul the show. Many people, myself included, were calling for some big changes to drum up excitement over a “tired concept”…but I think it’s more a function of offering us some compelling storylines and fighters and not being the same trashy, recycled Real World wannabe retards. I was really sick of tuning in to watch some regional level talent fighter realizing he could keep himself around and a central focus of the show by acting like a complete mouth-breathing mongoloid idiot. As a fan of the sport it was insulting to see people treating being a fighter, not as a profession or like a real athlete, but some extension of tired and played out US reality tv smut.

If you are one of the 15 guys brought in together and then they bring Kimbo in seperately, you would probably have an attitude towards him as well. See my post above about it being kind of unfair to Kimbo.

Yeah it is pretty stupid for them to hate Kimbo. They are all just jealous because this show is their claim to fame and Kimbo is going to take some attenetion. That isn’t Kimbos fault. He was marketed and it is what it is. You can’t blame him for enjoying the fame. You can give him props for trying to become legit and going through TUF. Apparently people grow to like Kimbo on the show though.

Can’t wait for this season. TUF hasn’t been that great since the beginning basically. Hopefully this turns it around.
I liked season 5
the lightweights — Nate Diaz, Gray Maynard, Joe Lauzon, Matt Wiman, Rob Emerson, Manny Gamuryan, Cole Miller, Corey Hart — there was a ton of talent in that cast.

Rashad got his licks in too. He was absolutely right about Rampage quitting versus Shogun. You could tell he wanted out of that fight and that Shogun broke his spirit.

too bad kimbo doesn’t end up on evans’ team. i’d think he could really benefit from jackson’s training methods… especially if he stuck with their camp after the show.

I know that they are just hyping this season up, and My God is it working!! I think on one of the clips on Spike, if you watch closely, you get to see Kimbo in what looks like ground n pounding some guy.
Even if Rampage / Rashad might not happen now...
I will watch the fuck out of this.

Too much build-up and hype around it for the UFC to completely abandon it.
