I wonder if they are going to have a Women’s fight on it?

Not a bad card at all, it’s rare for me to actually be interested in a non-major card.

With Edmonton, Alberta putting on cards like that, UFC needs to come to Alberta! They would sell out in no time!! Go E-Town!!

your right that should be one hell of a scrap i am hoping mkcee keeps up his awesome momentum and takes prater out as it would be one top 20 name of WW’s on his resume

I hope Prater destroys McKee. Unless McKee finishes the fight. I’d love to see McKee come to the UFC and try to outwrestle and lay’n’pray on someone like Edgar or Griffin. This man is the most boring fighter I have ever seen.

I love these MFC cards. Thanks for the update, Nic.
Where’s Ryan Ford. I wanna see him lose again.

Ryan Ford is fighting in TFC – http://www.thefightclub.ca/ which is also based out of Edmonton. Victor Valimacki, with a UFC loss is also in that promotion.

Cool…thanks for that quick reply. I wonder if he’ll be back in the MFC anytime soon.

Doubt it, there was a pretty serious dispute with the promotion.
I dislike Matt Hughes.

I might fly up to Edmonton for this, just to watch Luigi stomp Alessio.

Wow....
Many familiar underachievers from other worldly organizations… Well, they gotta eat too don’t they?. I wonder if Lutter has taken up training yet?

Damian Maia will become the next Jason MacDonald.
Sure, their ground games are on different levels, but they both have some of the worst striking in the sport.
I honestly expect to see Maia out of the UFC in his next 4 fights, unless he’s really been working his striking.

The only great ground fighters in the sport are either the ones with chins of steel, or impressive enough standup to set up their ground game.
Maia has been exposed, and will be going down the same road as MacDonald, and Lietes, and Lister, and many others. Without a well-rounded game, you can’t make it in the sport. And Maia is the definition of one-dimensional.

He managed to stand in there with the likes of Quarry, Sonnen, and Herman, and you think the one-punch KO means he’s done? He hasn’t been exposed, he got caught. It happens. He’s waaay better than any of the guys you named. Does he need a striking game? Yes. Can he learn a serviceable enough game? Yes. To think he’s going to wash out because he got caught once is pretty shortsighted.

Mega MFC Card!
Can’t wait for this one. Its like a mega card for the MFC. Another great reason why having HDNet is so awesome. The others? The great DREAM and Sengoku cards coming up!
