Ronaldo "Jacare" Responds to Jake Shields in an interview with adcombat.com:
"I am more than ready to step up and smash Shields. I think Jake Shields ground game is overrated and I will be more then glad to end his win streak and take his belt away. So Jake, you talk the talk, but can you walk the walk. If you can, let’s do it, I accept the fight against you right now. So what's it going to be."
"And I also would like to send a message to the clown Jason Miller, you made a huge mistake to follow me into Strikeforce.... Be ready, you are next on my list, after I finish Jake"

I must say...
These divisional tiffs between opponents are becoming mighty interesting and hilarious. They could definitely fuel some feuds with all of this.

It’s like Strikeforce sent all their dudes to Camp Shit Talk over the summer.

When I was in a Rio Airport two hot flight attendants came up to me and wanted to hear my “American” accent. They were laughing at the fact that I said “Sao” as "Sow, Sow Paulo). They pronounced like “Say”. All I know is that Portuguese wasn’t close to Spanish at all.
isn’t brazilian portuguese much different from portugal portuguese?

dude, I actually thought you were Brazilian LOL, I read your nick as LoveGod (in portuguese). it’s different and it’s not. It’s kind of hard to explain, I can hardly understand their portuguese when being spoken, but it’s the same written language, their accent is just too much for my patience, I rather hear spanish. There was also a provision last year that all portuguese speaking countries will have the exact same grammar, regardless of where they are, Europe, South America or Africa (some words and grammatical rules were different than in Portugal due to the native and African influence).
European Portuguese is very different from the brazilian one.
I have to agree on the accent, the brazilian one is just “too much for my patience” also ;) and I have to hear it every single time in training.
The “agreement” on grammar is absolute BS.
Well.. Phil Baroni was in the promotion… he probably held a class.

Man, the Strikeforce MW division is quickly becoming my favorite in all of mma. And just for the shit talking. Now hopefully the fights are just as entertaining.

I don’t think Sheild’s ground game is overrated but, compared to Jacare, he’s not there… This will be an MMA match though. Jacare found out about that when he forgot to look for an up-kick jumping into Mousassi’s guard.

Why is Jacare talking like a supervillain?
“I will smash Shields…and then The Clown is next!”
Funny stuff, should make some compelling middleweight matchups.
I finish beers at 1:55.
im a huge jacare fan
and i am even more of a fan now. if there is anyone with the bjj game to talk smack it is jacare. i see him finishing shields and mayhem both. also if that was jacare in the cage with marquardt i think it would have ended much differently.
this is my favorite mma feud and Im excited shields is now wrapped up in the drama
