UFC 104 Preview: Cain Velasquez Talks Ben Rothwell
"Ben Rothwell is a big guy and with those small gloves anything can happen. Rothwell is well rounded and has really good hands. The person you saw against Cheick Kongo wasn't me on my feet, the standup part of it, so you'll see a different fighter for sure."HT: Sherdog.com
"I was upset about Shane Carwin getting the title shot... but I can't sit there and dwell on it, I can't have it in my head, I have to worry about Ben Rothwell."

I think Velasquez takes this one utilizing his wrestling
Rothwell does have much better takedown defense and ground skills than Kongo, but I still see him getting taken down repeatedly by Velasquez. Rothwell definitely has a chance though, and I cannot see Velasquez finishing Rothwell on the feet or on the ground, so I see this going to decision if Velasquez does win.
“dont be too upset Cain you will get your chance to get demolished once Brock is done with Carwin”
lol….i was thinking the same thing, really your upset that u arent going to be getting your ass handed to you soon enough?

Cain would be in DEEP trouble against Brock
I went to the press conference in L.A. and Cain is significantly smaller than Rothwell. He would get crushed standing and on the ground. Thats one of those BJ-Kenny fights where one fighter has the edge everywhere but the line is still close. Perfect for betting.

Is this a Greg Jackson thing?
Everytime someone has a weakness it’s somebody elses weakness and not theirs?
