Jason "Mayhem" Miller talked to cagepotato, about how he will beat Jake Shields and is better in all areas:

Dude, I will beat the piss out of Jake Shields, and he knows it. I do everything better than him, and I’m bigger than him and stronger than him! I don’t understand, people think that because he stomped out some 170-pounders and caught Robbie Lawler in a damn guillotine, that all of a sudden he’s the second coming of Christ. Well guess what, dude? I’m gonna smash him. When I fight him, I’ll smash him.

Jake Shields responds to this via GracieFighter:

"he'll beat the piss out of me..? He's the one that won't sign the contract. I would sign that fight tonight but he just wants to talk and act tough, but he's the one that won't sign. His manager tells us the fight is on, Miller has agreed and then I'm hearing he's decided he can't fight in October but would maybe do it in December.

He thinks he's a star now but just like the show I was the only one doing the fighting while he just did the talking. He must think he's Cung Le now.

I just wanna see Mayhem actually fight. It seriously is dumb that he’s such a high caliber fighter, but hasn’t fought 1 of the ‘Bullies’.

there’s no reason for this fight not to happen now. it doesn’t make sense that mayhem would really duck shields. unless there is something wrong with the contract – maybe the money. otherwise let’s do this guys come on.

i hope they fight i would really like to see miller back all his talk up. i know his bjj would be upp to jakes level. i dont think jake would sub miller but i dont think jake stands a chance in much else. i can see miller taking this

I really want to see Shields eventually in the UFC. I want to see how he does against guys like Fitch, Alves, Kos, Hughes, etc. I’m still a Shields skeptic. I hope Miller signs on to fight, cause I’d love to see these two go at it.
