You are way off on the DREAM logo color. You had it blue and it is obviously black, so you were wrong. Wrong is wrong! (LOL .. at a typical MMA fan response to your comment).
Really though, awesome job on that.

i still think they should've gone with a black fence, for better viewing..
it would’ve still looked badass either way.

It’s got to be all white, otherwise how are you going to see all the blood.
Now that I think about it, how visually stunning is a pristine white cage splattered with red going to look?

Japanese Ringside doctors seem to hate blood with a passion. Tiny cut and the fight is over!

I know. That’s why they ban elbows. Although I kind of agree with the argument against elbows versus a grounded opponent.

Isn’t this card rumored to have the final of the Super Hulk also? Or are they planning to finish the whole tourney on DREAM.11?
by Anton Tabuena on Sep 29, 2009 6:41 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I think the finals of the Super Hulk are on NYE.

That’s funny…I just got a text from Tim telling me this. I have a pretty good idea who he will be fighting. WOW is all I can say.
Overeem or JLB perhaps?

Wasn’t Barnett was fighting Antonio Silva at Sengoku 11?
by nottheface on Sep 30, 2009 1:16 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
That was a rumor and there is no confirmation for that yet. Not sure when Barnett will be fighting for Sengoku again. I’ve heard Silva vs Barnett for NYE, possibly.

DREAM Cage
1. The fights in the cage will be 3×5 minute rounds.
Hooray! For all the greatness of PRIDE, and to a lesser extent, DREAM, I just do not like the (10, 5) round structure.
2. The current plan is to hold one special cage event like DREAM.12 each year.
Boo! This is silly. So, once a year they will completely alter the way in which their fights take place? Even for Japan this is a wacky idea.

yeah, if it's a huge hit,
we will probably see cages more often.. I hope they follow the unified rules so we can have you know.. uniformity? haha.

I love it! People are complaining about it being too white but isnt their ring white right now? It’s perfectly lit. This should be awesome. I hope HDNet does it live so I can take the next day off and stay up. =) War ALVAREZ!

You don’t have to look through the ring, you have to look AT the ring.
If it works I think it’s a neat little change, but I really wonder if it’s going to be harder to see through than a black cage.

It will most likely be live and in glorious HD!

A Couple Of Updates:
1) I heard that DREAM will keep its rules, but use a Cage and 3×5 minute rounds. Knees to a downed opponent and stomps to the body should be allowed in the cage.
2) The Sengoku SRC NYE event may broadcast the ISHII fight on TBS, which could means they could do something similar to when Fedor fought HMC on NYE. So, TBS may indeed show the K-1 NYE show and top it off with the ISHII bout against Yoshida.
