Former TUF Fighter Paul Bradley talks UFC Regrets, Strikeforce deal and Tonight’s Fight on Showtime
HT: Uniting Locals Through Mixed Martial Arts
Bradley has quietly put together an 11-1 record outside of the UFC. Still trying to shake the lay n' pray label given to him when he was on season 7 of the Ultimate Fighter.
He also recently moved up to Minnesota to train with Greg Nelson at Minnesota Martial arts Academy same camp as Brock Lesnar, Sean Sherk, Brock Larson and Nik Lentz.
On UFC not calling him back
"At the time I was pretty angry. I was hoping I at least got to come back at the finale because I've known guys who have gotten hurt and had the opportunity to come back for the finale. That was never the case for me. I never received a phone call or anything like that. In the end it did give me the chance to decide if this is what I really wanted to do."
Scouting his Stirkeforce Challengers Opponent Levi Avera
"He's from Tulsa. I watched some tape on him and he's pretty good on the ground. I noticed he keeps his head a little high in the air. I definitely will want to land some punches on that. My last couple of fights have been on my feet the whole time, just to kind of prove that the whole Ultimate Fighter thing that I was a lay n' pray wrestler is not true.
I can be exciting and do the stand up everyone wants to see. In the Pierce fight for example, I've almost gotten too much away from my wrestling instead of bringing them both together. This fight I will to take it to the ground and use my wrestling, just to keep him honest on the feet."
New 5 Fight Deal with Strikeforce
"From what I know it's a five fight deal. I'm going to try to stay pretty active. I'm looking to fight as soon as possible with them again. If, all goes well and I come out injury free one of the cards I would love to fight on is the Fedor Brett Rogers card in Chicago. I got a lot of friends and family that would come to that and even if it's on the undercard I'd love to be on a show like that."

Worth noting – that one loss was to Mike Pierce, who was in the WEC before it contracted and just beat Brock Larson in his UFC debut.
