if the ufc can give guys like vera “gimme” fights, then they can certainly do it for houston. don’t see the point in matching him up with anymore solid ground fighters for awhile. briann stann, or maybe mcfedries (at some kinda catchweight), would be good slugfests. it’s pretty obvious he won’t be making a run at the title, so might as well just put him in fights that showcase his strengths. win or lose it’s always gonna be a quick finish with him.

I’m a fan. I hope he keeps improving, it would be nice to see him rack up some wins in the UFC.

I hope Houston is drilling sprawls until December. Big fan of Houston.
