According to a blog post on his official Web site dated August 24, UFC lightweight contender and TUF 5 veteran Joe Lauzon (18-4 MMA) is eyeing a possible return to the Octagon as early as January of 2010 after undergoing successful ACL surgery at the beginning of the year.
In the post, talking about his visit with Dr. Pavlovich, Lauzon said, “I asked him if fighting in January or so was reasonable and he said it definitely was. We had talked about January before but it was nice to hear it from him at this point.”

Lauzon is just too busy playing video games
Honestly though, I hope to see him sooner than later. He utilizes his grappling and jiu jitsu with unique techniques (fireman’s carry for example), and he is one of the ground artist that is very exciting to watch (I like ground fighting in general though).
