Josh Koscheck -500 vs. Frank Trigg +355
I often hear that Frank Trigg is fighting his twin or the younger version of himself . . . but odds are saying that he has no chance at all??

Kos is a “Trigg 2.0” or sorts – same skill set, but younger, faster, better shape, etc.

Did Affliction lend the UFC their video library for the Vitor highlights?

Who enjoys the weigh-in the most?
I love watching the ring girls snicker and giggle when the fighters undress. 2 of them had super bright smiles when the saint took off his jeans.
I'm looking for the chicken and the rice. Please for you give me the chicken then you come with the rice or then you give me the rice and the chicken, I don't care.
Who enjoys the weigh-in the most?
Not me. Rogan’s voice is giving me a goddamn headache.

indeed.
I remember watching an Rogan’s first fight as a commentator, the sound dudes couldn’t handle the levels he was producing all you heard was “Rar rar crackle crackle, WOW… WOW…”. I just don’t understand why he hasn’t realized there is no reason to yell when you have a microphone.
I'm looking for the chicken and the rice. Please for you give me the chicken then you come with the rice or then you give me the rice and the chicken, I don't care.

He was sniffling and wiping his nose a ton. Could have a cold, hence trouble cutting.
I got Cole double now.

Odd catchweight…

Probably brought to the table by Franca’s camp when they realized he wasn’t gonna make weight.

That sound you heard was half of sherdog getting a little too excited when they saw cro cop’s shirt.
And hes not even that big at 236. How can Cro-Cop expect to compete with some of the HW monsters at 226?

I’d love to see it but the speed in his strikes has been severely lacking.

Without pictures to compare, my brain tells me he’s looking much more fit for this fight than his last.
Of course, my brain likes to fail. Sooo…

And here goes more cash on Rich
Vitor looked puffy and still didn’t make weight
"Japan is half-Machida" - iiowyn
Oh yeah, Joe. He’s matured alright. Matured to not make weight.
I love Vitor but this is not acceptable.
http://twitter.com/FlyByKnite
I guess if you count each successive removal of clothing a “try”, sure. Not that that matters. Completely nude he weighed in a quarter pound over the limit. Big f’n deal.
Twitter: @Mike_Fagan_13
http://www.sackmikegoldberg.com
But the weight class he intends on fighting in is ten pounds away. eleven if he wants a title shot. Am I right? Thats the purpose of this catch weight bout, so Vitor could make weight?
Yeah but, this doesn’t prove he can’t make 185. You get yourself to a certain weight to cut down to the weight the day of weigh-ins. It only proves he’ll need to get himself closer to that weight for middleweight.

While I agree, it’s still a bad showing on his part. He needs to take his return seriously. He can’t just settle for getting back into the UFC. He needs to actually want to show something.
http://twitter.com/FlyByKnite
I don’t mind getting on fighters when they miss weight, but unless he doesn’t make it within the next hour, there’s no reason to rag on him. The rules are clearly set out and unless he fails again, he fell within them.
Twitter: @Mike_Fagan_13
http://www.sackmikegoldberg.com
Oh I agree. I just don’t like a guy missing a catchweight. It just looks bad to me. He made 185 in his last fight. He used to make 205 before. How does he not make 195?
Then again, maybe the scale he used said 195 but the official one didn’t.
http://twitter.com/FlyByKnite
We’re talking about a a quarter pound…
He was probably in an elevator with some important people and held in a fart….
Probably should go take an Anderson Silva dump.
Twitter: @Mike_Fagan_13
http://www.sackmikegoldberg.com
Its to account for a bad scale and other variables. And I agree. But the combination of the fact that 195 was so Vitor could make weight easily and the fact that he looks soft? You telling me that doesn’t worry you? This is Vitor, not Fedor. Fedor always looks the same. When Vitor looks soft, I worry.
Only if you hate tiny baby orphans.

By the way, I loved the guy doing the weigh-in scale and how he tried to cheat the scale when Belfort weighed in. Anyone else see him trying to hold it down so Belfort could make weight?
http://twitter.com/FlyByKnite
Sounds like he hates Vitor for whatever reason.

dude, he was just starting it from the bottom each time he moved the weight to see where it settled. It’s legit way to do it.

it looked a lot to me like the guys running the scale were not the sharpest tools in the shed, or the scale was shit.
170.75.. really? REALLY?
had the same thought
when they zoomed in… it made the scale crew seem even more inept.
